The winners of the 2021 Nordic Spirits Awards will be announced at tonight’s online awards show.
Nordic Spirits Awards, which debuted last year, is “celebrating the quality and passion the producers put into each and every craft product.” A carefully selected panel of judges blind taste all spirits, eight categories, and then score them gold, silver and bronze based on aroma, appearance, taste and finish.
The categories are vodka, rum, gin, whisky, liqueur/bitter, aquavit/snaps , free form spirit and vermouth, and they’re looking for genuine craft products with locally sourced raw materials and without any artificial ingredients.
